Treeko 6/116

Treecko 6/116 Common

Pound      10 Damage
1 Colorless Energy

Reckless Charge This Pokemon does 10 damage to itself. 30 Damage
1 Colorless Energy
1 Grass Energy

In my opinion, this card is like a typical basic pokemon, besides the fact that it has a 20 damage resistance to water. Its first move does 10 damage for a colorless energy. The second move, though, does 30, but you do 10 damage to yourself. If it was for two colorless enrgy, then it would be worth it for me, but since it take one grass, as well as one colorless, I don't like it as much.

As for the artwork, it's good, but I get really bothered by the color of the tree behind Treecko, just saying

Exeggutor 5/116

Exeggutor 5/116 Rare

Blockade Your opponent can't play any Supporter cards from his or her hand during his or her next turn. 10 Damage
1 Colorless Energy

Stomp Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 30 more damage. 60+ Damage
2 Colorless Energy
1 Grass Energy

This card isn't that bad. The first move requires 1 colorless and even though it does 10 damage, i does not allow your opponent to play supporter cards. For Stomp, it takes just 3 energy for up to 90 damage.
pretty good card, despite the exeggcute being so weak.

I like the artwork, too. walking on the beach near iced over rock, and the waves are also calmly going back and forth. I like it!

Exeggcute 4/116

Exeggcute 4/116 Uncommon

Propagation Once during your turn (before you attack), if this Pokemon is in your discard pile, you may put this card into your hand.

                        Seed Bomb                                                                         20 Damage
1 Grass Energy
1 Colorless Energy

Great, an Exeggcute that can be returned from your discard pile from to your hand; the only downfall, IT HAS 30 HP!!!!! Besides that, its only attack goes for 20 and requires a grass AND colorless energy.
No, just no. Hopefully the Exeggutor will be better or this card is point less.

As for the art, I actually like it.

Beedrill 2/116

Beedrill 2/116 Rare

Swift Sting  If this Pokemon has full HP, this attack does 40 more damage, and the Defending Pokemon is now Confused and Poisoned.
1 Grass Energy

                     Pierce                                                                                    60 Damage
3 Colorless Energy

Alright, Beedrill, the last evolution for the Weedle/Kakuna chain. For the first move, Swift Sting, It is pretty good, but only if you are at full health. Of course, if you evoled your Weedle into the Kakuna in this set, you would have used Hide, a move that prevents you from taking any damage, so you will probably be able to use this move at least once. Then, if your opponent is confused and doesn't hurt you, you can always use it again. As for the second move, Pierce, it's just a move that does 60 damage after the extra effects of Swift Sting don't apply.

And for the artwork, pretty nice, but in my eyes, the way the color is filled in make the Beedrill a bit harder to make out than how I would like it to be.

Kakuna 2/116

Kakuna 2/116 Uncommon

Hide Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks including damage done to this pokemon during your opponent's next turn.
1 Grass Energy

WHAT! Its only attack prevents it from damage and it's only a 50% chance it won't be harmed next turn? At least you should have a grass energy if you evolved it from the Weedle in this set. As long you draw a Bedrill quickly, though, you shouldn't have any problem.

As for the art, its alright besides the fact that MOST chrysalis hang on something, only cocoons lay on the ground. Wait, it's the cocoon pokemon. It's just the developers' problem then.

Weedle 1/116

Weedle 1/116 Common

Triple Stab Flip 3 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads.
1 Grass Energy

This card is all right, I guess. For one grass energy, you can do up to 30 damage, but since you also has a chance to get 0 damage, it is a gamble. 30+20+10+0= 60. 60/4= 15. Its attack does an average of 15 damage each turn, so It isn't the worst option, despite having 50 HP.

As for the art, I find it confusing, is the ice touching his nose, is he spraying a string, in that case, shouldn't he have string shot?
